Yes NERFL fans, Kimmelitis is back….and 2009 will be better than ever. We have some new bells and whistels to roll out in the near future but for now, we are going to start with our favorite preseason exercise; Predicting the 2009 NERFL Results and ultimately, the 2009 NERFL Champion.
So we start with the losers in the METRO DC CONFERENCE and as much as we would like to give “The Rookie” a break in our annual chastisement of the losers bracket but we can’t. He must suffer through the indignity and the season in the losers “tour-de-force” along with the other three “non-playoff contenders” of 2008…. sorry, Charlie!

I am going out of character here:
I think the Maroons and the Slayers battle for the division title:
1) Dragon Slayers 8-6-0
2) Kenosha Maroons 7-7-0 (mediocrity baby!)
3) The Rookie Sensation 5-9-0
4) Pop’s Puppies 2-12-0 (it’s just his turn!!!)
And that is my prediction… anyone got anything different!

See, I am willing to take that bet because with a fourteen game regulars season, it is impossible for these teams to have these records.
For all four of these teams to have sixteen game records would mean they are the final four and they would have seventeen game marks, not sixteen….. so yeah, as long as the records are included in the bets, you can make that check out to Doug…. better yet, let’s just make it cash, in a briefcase.
