Four Questions & Last Man Standing!

FOUR QUESTIONS:

 

• 1) If you had to describe one or two owners by comparing them to a household cleaning product; what owner(s) would you compare to said household cleaning products? Why?

 

Cardiac Kids  –  It would be the E & J Experience and Liquid Drano. After riding a 9-5 record and a division title in the playoffs last season, his season has gone down the drain faster than Liquid Drano could clear a clog in the pipes…. New Team Name: “E & J Drano’s”

Pop’s Puppies  –  thats easy/ the owner of the protest queen macaroons is like amonia [makes your eyes tear and has an awful "smell"]

 Carlos  –  Interesting Question.. So I’ll take some Windex for Doug, and I’ll take some Febreeze for Pops’s….. I’ll tackle Pop’s pick first.. Its simple.. Because Pop’s weekly banter is just like febreeze,Because It’s smooth and it leaves a pleasing aroma all over Nerfl on a weekly basis…. and…For Dougy, Sorry but no matter what he gets himself into on a weekly basis in Nerfl he reminds me of the Old man from ”My Big Fat Greek wedding”. No matter what he says or does “All I can think about is ” Put some Windex On It ” A great quote from that movie mentioned above. Because he says some of the craziest things, and always has a funny way to look at things in a view that i find rather amusing…

DC Nukes  –  Oh, this is a good one.  I play this every night while falling a sleep.  That’s why I have an answer for every team!!

Slayers   -  Pledge, their team is just lemony fresh
Experience – Cascade – no holes (spots) to be found in this line up
Sensation – Bleach (generic brand) – kills everything in sight for a low, low price
MENDONCA  – Windex – no streaks except the one of him blowing by you
Maroons – Tsumekaeyou, the Japanese power-house cleaner.  sure its 248 yen, but we know why!!
Puppies – Frebreze – it takes care of everything and wipes you off the field, no matter how much you stink
1 Yard Line  -  Lysol, because it is a powder or a liquid
Schottenheimers   - Clorox – like bleach but more expensive and stings your eyes more
Players – Palmolive – strong, but graceful
Nukes - battery acid – what?? sometimes you need to get out stains and you just over kill

 

 

• 2) Who gets the prize for being the funniest member of NERFL? Why?

 

Cardiac Kids  –  Eric. I have not seen a comment, post, reply or answer to a question at kimmelitis that even comes close to his humor. Keep up the good work, Eric!

Pop’s Puppies  –  eli because he just doesn;t know how funny he is when talking trash

Carlos  –  The Funniest Member in Nerfl…. Let’s See, wait a minute… Sorry but I can’t just choose 1… It’s nerfl’s greatest Soap Opera… The Dougy and Pop’s Show,, I tune every week to see what’s going to be said between these two fierce competitors on a weekly basis.. Their Nerfl’s Odd Couple, But i find their Battles very amusing ..

DC Nukes  –  Is this like ha ha funny, or that clown just fell over and broke its nose funny?

 

 

• 3) Kimmelitis has caught some rumblings over the past few weeks for changes to or elimination of the PPR rule for 2010. What are your thoughts on PPR?

 

Cardiac Kids  –    I came out in opposition to PPR when it was pitched and have maintained that I am not a fan of PPR BUT with that said, this is a done issue in my book. Those who question PPR now are those who adamantly and ardently supported it when it was pitched. As my mom used to say, “You made your bed, now lie in it!” PPR had nine votes last time it was brought up, add the Cardiac Kids to the list of “keep it” votes because the time to talk about PPR is over. Adjust, plan, draft, move on…. keepers and team strategies for the last two years have been based around the rule; it’s time to leave it alone and move forward.

Pop’s Puppies  –  not elimination but a lesser point per catch to make the qb’s/ rb’s and wr’s more equal/  nothing wrong with points per catch/ just make the points for catches and points for yards more appropriate for the position so a mediocre wr doesn’t eclipse a quality rb

Carlos  –  We voted on IT, and IT passed.. So we keep it.. It makes the weekly match-ups alot closer than they would be and it makes Nerfl more competitive on a weekly basis.

Just draft smarter, and and do your research on what players gain the most from Famous PPR scoring aspect. Its not Brain Science.. This Fatman likes the PPR rule more than cake… So don’t send it away, or this Fatman might just have to eat YOU…..

DC Nukes  –  PPR?  I am completely for photopolarimeter/radiometers.  How else are we going to quantitatively measure the intensity and polarization of sunlight in the visible portion of the spectrum that is reflected from the Jovian satellites and Jupiter??  Just answer me that one.  How?

 

 

• 4) With seven weeks of the NERFL season in the books; Which four owners do you predict will make the final four in the playoffs?

 

Cardiac Kids  –  The playoffs are a fickle mistress, one bad day for a player can sink a team. So predicting at the halfway mark is tough. The Cardiac Kids because we never bet against our team, especially when they have done as well as they have this year. That leaves three other teams; Carlos, DC Nukes, Marty’s Schottenheimers.

Pop’s Puppies  –  trees, nukes, shottzies are my long shot, puppies [what you expected i would pick my own team]

Carlos  –  The owners who will make the Final Four in the Playoffs are…… Wait a Minute..  Who ever wants it more Obviously… But if your making me pick…. I’ll have to take   The Trees, The Slayers, The Cardaic Kids, and Obviously The Carlos. You be crazy thinking that I leave my name out of this race.. I’m going to be in it until someone knocks me out..

DC Nukes  –  Ah, it is still early, but I would say North Carolina, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, and Memphis…. Oh, you meant NERFL?  well, I think Kids and Trees are going to fight it out with the rest getting ready for the Final Four.?
