Four Questions & Last Man Standing

At the end of the Four Questions, you will find this week’s LAST MAN STANDING selections!!!  (So far Doug, Rich, Eric and Andy L. have paid up)

FOUR QUESTIONS:

• 1) There are six weeks left in the NERFL regular season; what areas of concern do you have with your team? Why?

Cardiac Kids –  Consistency at the RB and TE slot. I have gone to a five wide formation, so the TE isn’t as big of a concern but I can’t expect to pitch a (1) at the RB slot every week and win. But hey, if we have an issue, we put a little Windex on it…. Hopa!

Pop’s Puppies –  you mean besides the putrid effort my team puts up weekly/ sure they don’t score, can’t defend and the general manager [general geo s] should be fired and his assistant put in charge.

Carlos — Honestly.. Consistency is the only flaw we have right now… One week we can put some major points up, and POOF.. We lay a big Stinka. Other than that my team has no holes in it.. we might not be the Best on paper, But we can beat anyone in this league if were at our best, and firing on all cylinders..

• 2) Do you think your NERFL team has all of the necessary pieces to win a NERFL championship? Why?

Cardiac Kids –  Yes, I do. Good QB, good WRs, good K, good Def, and a decent RB (not ideal) situation. Now having the right pieces to win and actually winning; those are two very different questions. But I think the Cardiac kids are in a good position to have a chance at winning the championship.

Pop’s Puppies –  sure if the bye weeks go thru week 14 otherwise not a chance

Carlos – Definitely, I wouldn’t have drafted it or picked up the FREE-agents i have, If I thought my team was built to win a Championship. This question is RaDonkulus…

• 3) Who are the biggest “pretenders” in NERFL? Why?

Cardiac Kids –    E & J, Dave’s team (you pick the name) and the Rookie. E & J and Dave, it was kind of expected because no one ever expected them to compete with the real teams in their conference…. the Rookie is still learning so we cut him some slack but next year, the gloves come off…

Pop’s Puppies –  the dog bites/ duh

Carlos — Thats simple.. The E&J experience, The dragon Slayers, and My Best Buddy Dave… First> Eli> Because his team has the Talent, But he doesn’t know how to utilize effectively, week in and week out.

second > the Slayers> His team Is not built for the long haul, and he has more holes in it, and Heroin Addict has on her arm after a 48 hour Bender..

Lastly> My Buddy dave> I JUST DONT LIKE THE KID… I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL HIS PLAYERS.. THEIR OWNER IS A BIG CRY BABY, AND HE NEEDS TO JUST SUCK IT UP AND PLAY BALL.. CHANGE HIS DIAPER AND STICK THAT PACIFIER IN HIS MOUTH AND PUT HIM ON THE BENCH.. HE’S DONE…

• 4) Which NFL player (from a fantasy football perspective) gives you the biggest ulcer? Why?

Cardiac Kids –  Slaton! Steve. Slaton. Or as we like to call him around the clubhouse, ”Sir Fumble!” It’s gotten so bad that we only feed the boy on paper plates and with paper cups! Cuts down on overhead costs that way! … “Hey trainer, will you spray some Windex on Slaton, Please?!… it will cure his fumbling problem!!!”

Pop’s Puppies –  on my team, LT…. on every other team the rule that allows keepers like AD to stay with a team virtually forever

Carlos – That’s simple… Clinton Portis… The Guy reminds me of my arch enemy dave. they spend more time in the nurse’s room and the ER, Because they oops chipped a nail, oh my tummy hurts, oh my ingrown toe nail… Their always hurt either physically or emotionally..    Here’s my gift to them both.. A big Box of tissues and a warm bottle of milk.. Now go to Bed and leave me the heck alone.
