We are sitting down with “Q” the CEO and owner of the Philly NymphoPhiActs and I guess I should add, Conference Champion Philly NymphoPhiActs to that greeting. Congratulations!

1) So how does it feel to be the New England Conference Champion in your rookie season?

There is no feeling until I hit that G-spot = “Goal of a NERFL Championship.”

2) Do you agree with the CEO of Pop’s Puppies that rookies should be seen and not heard from?

I sense that Paapi is being quite the deviant… implying gagballs and other devices!

3) As one who has not been afraid to mix up the trash talk this season, what is your take on the egos in NERFL?

The egos and trash talk have been quite “grand.”  If by “grand” you mean “grandpa” and bingo!  Is Matlock the official spokes-cryptkeeper of NERFL?

4) Is there any team or teams that is out of line more often than not in the league or do you think everything is fair game and when the season starts, let the gloves come off and the punches get thrown?

We can only speak for the Nymphs who will punch, kick, pull hair, fish hook and b*tch slap our way to a NERFL Championship!  Heck, we can even do it “off our backs.”

5) Do you have a favorite rivalry in the league yet? Or is it too early to tell which team is going to be your bitter rival year in and year out?

Paapi… we’ve got a father-son… Catholic priest-altar boy… dominatrix-slave relationship!  In a world of pimps & ho’s, if you need a poll to figure out who is who, then you’re probably a “ho.”

6) You are going up against the DC Nukes this week in the playoffs. It is no secret that your two teams are on more friendly terms than others in the league. s it a bitter pill to swallow to send a friend packing in the playoffs? Or is it just another game?

Yeah, it’s akin to sleeping with my gf’s sister AND her mother… win or lose, I’m f#&$!

7) Your prediction; who is going to win this week, you or the DC Nukes?

Nukes… they have the firepower to go on a 3-way (err…game) run!  This week is tough… Rice at SD, Chris Johnson at IND and Victor Cruz at WSH.  I think I’m going down this week and not in the fun way…

8) NERFL has their own version of the Madden Curse, it is the first round curse of the playoffs. Many number eight seeds have knocked off many number one seeds in the first round of the playoffs. This week that curse is amped up to a new level since Pops Puppies are playing the Carolina Chaos this week. Do you believe in curses? And if so, do you think the curse will rear its ugly head this weekend or will it have to wait for another year to take out another unsuspecting #1 seed?

I don’t believe in Curses; however, during this Holiday Season, I believe in STDs, the gifts that keep on giving!  I did Paapi a favor by winning last week giving him an opportunity instead of me of playing an injury-depleted Chaos team (Forte, Jennings)… without the late injuries, they were surging.

9) Considering you have been in the middle of the Pops Puppies-Carolina Chaos crossfire a few times this year, what is your take on their rivalry?

Unless someone slept with someone’s wife or stole a tricked-out spoiler, this is more akin to comparing whose “bigger”… Barbie or Malibu Stacy!

10) This week, the Mice changed their name to Kenosha Maroons, PA and could possibly face the Kenosha Maroons next week if both teams progress to the 2nd round… what are your thoughts on the bravado of the Mice to taunt another NERFL franchise so openly in the playoffs?

As far I’m concerned, Macarons are the latest rage in pastry and in France… I think bravado is sweet.

11) Will the Maroons face the Maroons, PA at all in the playoffs?

While Maroon on Maroon action may be pleasing as girl-on-girl action, I think the middle-seeded teams are dangerous!  They’ve been streaking and not in a Will Ferrell Old School kinda way…

12) Right now, heading into week 15, tell us the truth. Will the Philly NymphoPhiActs be the 2011 NERFL Champion? And if not you, then who do you predict will win the championship this year?!

Hey, it’s not lying, it’s called flirting!  IF they Nymphos can get by the Nukes, then we will defeat Paapi in the NERFL Bowl… however, I think the Nymphos season ends here (this has been a NHL playoff season and anything can happen in the playoffs).  As I’ve said all along, Paapi will be the champion.  Gronk(TE) is the MVP of the season.

We are sitting down with Eric the CEO and owner of the DC Nukes… Thanks for joining us this week.

1)  So it’s been a rough year for the Nukes. After a bunch of second place finishes, do you want to give us a rundown of what happened/went wrong this season?

What went wrong is we lost too many games.  My assistant said, hey, you know how we keep winning games and then NOT winning a championship.  Well, let’s try losing.  I didn’t think he was right at the time, but I was drunk, there was a chicken with a Hawaiian shirt, and some name calling.  It was all very confusing at the time, but that is how it all started.  It also didn’t help that every major starter got hurt this year.  Even ones not on my team.  Just goes and teaches me to rely on “talent.”  Next year, no talent!  If you name isn’t Ryan Leaf, you aren’t getting drafted.  Can’t get hurt if you are on the bench!

2)  And your good friend “Q” was the champion of the New England Conference, what do you think of his season so far?

Q’s season is kind of like his cooking.  You think, those ingredients can’t possibly work together, then BAMB.  It’s hot.  I know Q thinks he really misjudged the draft, so I will be really scared next year now that he has the hang of it.

3)  Since “Q” was a rookie and vocal this season, do you agree with the CEO of Pop’s Puppies that rookies should be seen and not heard from?

I am a big fan of letting the record do the talking.  And since both Q and Pops kicked my butt, they can say whatever they want.  But, every league must have its two opposing forces.  Maybe Q is here to bring balance to the league, once foretold by the ancient elders and reflected in the oracle sphere.  (Either that or I convinced him to put off laundry for an hour do the draft.)  Like Schembechler vs. Hayes or Belichick vs. Dungy or Classic Coke vs. New Cherry-Vanilla Diet Coke Zero, Q is the Honey Bunch to Pop’s Oats…

4) As one who doesn’t mix it up the trash talk department too often, what is your take on the egos in NERFL?

I do to trash talk and anyone who doesn’t think so is a big cotton headed ninny muggins.  If there’s anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot now.  As for everyone else’s ego, I haven’t noticed, because I am the most important one.

5)  Is there any team or teams that is out of line more often than not in the league or do you think everything is fair game and when the season starts, let the gloves come off and the punches  get thrown?

Well, I don’t think they tell boxers to wait 25 seconds into the round before throwing a punch.  (Unless you are Peter Buckley.  Awwww snap, yeah I just called you out Buckley.)  As far as I am concerned, you can start taunting as soon as the draft starts.  Hasn’t anyone noticed how I try to undermine everyone’s confidence at draft time?   Do it!!!!

6) Do you have a favorite rivalry in the league?

I hate playing anyone that gets more points than me.  That just sucks.    I think the Slut/Trees games end up be pretty interesting.

7) You are going up against the Philly NymphoPhiActs this week in the playoffs. It is no secret that your two teams are on more friendly terms than others in the league. Is it a bitter pill to swallow to send a friend packing in the playoffs? Or is it just another game?

The only sad thing is that I will lose.  But, since I helped hand pick Q to join the league, I am really responsible for the winner of this game either way.  So, in that way I am the winner.  Not in reality, but I will still take it.

8) Your prediction; who is going to win this week, you or the Philly NymphoPhiActs?

If the Philly’s lose, it will be the greatest upset in NERFL history.  (No pressure.)

Of course I believe in curses, that is why I never look a one-eyed Asian monkey in the eye while standing on one foot.  (Or listen to Celine Dion after Jan 3rd – but that is just common sense.)  I definitely think Pops could be upset.  But, how awesome would a Pops/Q championship game be??  I would watch that on Pay Per View if ESPN FantasyCast wasn’t free.

10) This week, the Mice changed their name to Kenosha Maroons, PA and could possibly face the Kenosha Maroons next week if both teams progress to the 2nd round… what are your thoughts on the bravado of the Mice to taunt another NERFL franchise so openly in the playoffs?

I thought it would have been better if they changed their name to the Kenosha Maroon Fives.

11) Will the Maroons face the Maroons, PA at all in the playoffs?

No.  I have seen the future, and it is sad.  But, it will get better, but just not for this match-up.

12)  Right now, heading into week 15, tell us the truth. Will the DC Nukes be the 2011 NERFL Champion? And if not you, then who do you predict will win the championship this year?!

No, there is no way the Nukes can possibly win.  I like either the Trees or Slut.  They both are explosive offensives and I think they have been lolly-gagging all year.  I am calling both out right now to win their games by more 100 points.  I know they can do it.

THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS:

#1  –  Pop’s Puppies          -vs-          #8  –  Carolina Chaos

The Puppies and The Chaos have a career 5-5 record against each other

The Puppies won in week 6 against the Chaos by a score of 127-107.

The Puppies have a three game win streak against the Chaos that started in 2009.

The Chaos beat the Puppies in the first round of the 2004 playoffs by a score of 95-81.

Both of these teams have gone at it all season, off the field and on the field. Don’t expect their to be any niceties the rest of the week or come Sunday. This is a classic battle between two teams that literally like to beat up on each other. It should make for a great game.

The Puppies will win this week by a score of 140-139

#2  –  Philly NymphoPhiActs          -vs-          #7  –  DC Nukes

Philly and The Nukes have a career 1-1 record against each other

The DC Nukes won in week 3 by a score of 170-111 but Philly flipped the script in week twelve and won by a score of 132-124.

Philly has a one game win streak against the Nukes.

The teams have never met in the playoffs.

Unlike the first game of the week, these two teams like each other. Philly stunned the league by winning their conference in their inaugural season, now the question remains; can they become the first rookie to ever win a championship in NERFL? The next three weeks will answer that question and it all gets started on Sunday against a team that has knocked on the championship door more times than anyone.

The Philly will win this week by a score of 130-129

#3  –  West Hartford Trees          -vs-          #6  –  Kenosha Maroons, PA

The West Hartford Trees have a career 6-4 record against the Kenosha Maroons, PA.

The Trees won in week 8 against the Maroons, PA by a score of 109-93.

The Trees have a four game win streak against the Maroons, PA that started in the first round of the 2008 playoffs.

The Trees beat the Maroons, PA twice in the playoffs. In the second round of the 2006 playoffs by a score of 78-38 and in the first round of the 2008 playoffs by a score of 143-98.

The West Hartford Trees are coming off a tough loss to a weaker division foe that cost the Trees the conference title. The Trees have a ton of playoff experience and are looking to win a 2nd NERFL title. The Kenosha Maroons, PA are hoping to take a late season surge into the playoffs in hopes that the momentum will carry them to a 2011 NERFL championship.

The Trees will win this week by a score of 142-122.

The Sluts have a career 12-4-1 record against the Kenosha Maroons.

The Sluts won in week 5 by a score of 160-97 and in week 14 by a score of 162-148.

The Sluts have a three game win streak against the Maroons that started in 2010.

The teams have never met in the playoffs.

Pops Puppies likes to claim to be the highest scoring team in the league. Not true. CCS is. CCS also has a three week streak of scoring more than 160 points per game (5 on the season). This team is firing off on all cylinders and considering that CCS has an average margin of victory of 40pts per game this season against the Maroons, it does not look like a fair fight this weekend.

CCS will win this week by a score of 149-136
