Four Questions & Last Man Standing!

October 23, 2009 · 8 Comments

At the end of the Four Questions, you will find this week’s LAST MAN STANDING selections!!!  (So far Doug, Rich and Andy have paid up)

FOUR QUESTIONS:

  • 1) Pop’s Puppies and the Cardiac Kids got into a war of words over the topic of trades last week. Which team would you be more likely to discuss a potential trade with during the NERFL season? Why?

Cardiac Kids  –  Our record speaks for itself. More trades during the regular season than any other NERFL team. The only trading Pop’s does is with Josh in the offseason and even those trades seem to bite the Poptarts in the Arse!

Pop’s Puppies  –  POPS BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO TRADE.   AS EVERYONE COULD SEE SIMS WALKER IS A FIRST LINE WR AND DOUGIE DROPPED MAGAHEE WHEN HE COULDN’T FIND A “SUCKER”/ NEXT QUESTION

DC Nukes  –  The DC Nukes will trade with anyone, anytime.  We prefer to trade with those that are more desperate, but we will take what we can get.

Pissed Off Portugue  –  Thats simple.. Pop’s puppies. He’s a Good Man, and he’ll always be fair in my book. Pop’s roster also has more to offer im means of a possible trade anyway…Sorry Dougy, You have no one that intrigues me, plus i hope I SEE YOU in The PLayoffs.. PAYBACK Is a Bio##H…………

Dragon Slayers  –  Probably the puppies, cause he seems more likely to pull off a trade

Four Questions & Last Man Standing

October 16, 2009 · 4 Comments

This week Pop’s Puppies and the Cardiac Kids have been trading barbs… We at Kimmelitis love it!

At the end of the Four Questions, you will find this week’s LAST MAN STANDING selections!!!

FOUR QUESTIONS:

  • 1) The rumor around NERFL is that it is nearly impossible to get trades done. Are trades nearly impossible to get done in NERFL? Why? Why not?

Pop’s Puppies  –  because half the owners won’t trade and some of the other half won’t make credible offers.  of course some owners think mcgahee [a split rb situation] is equal to sims walker [no 1 receiver on a schizo jax team]…. perhaps that owner will now try to trade mcgahee for rice even up/ or not

RIP My Big Boy Red Forever  –  It all depends on who you deal with on your trades.. Some owners try to low ball ya in this league, and others are just too scared to pull the Trigger…. If it’s a FAIR trade, I’ll Listen.. But if its BAD deal i just delete it, and move on to other NERFL Business. This is solely my opinion, and I’m sticking to it.

Cardiac Kids  –  It’s not that hard at all. I have executed more trades over the past five years than any other team. Why? Because I do not over value my players. Trading is not hard, what is hard is trying to have a dialogue with people who are grounded in reality.

Dragon Slayers  –  yes due to the cap

Rookie Sensation  –  How could I, as a rookie, answer that question.
